Nominated - Female Vocalist of the Year, Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards
The Other Woman
Over the course of her previous three albums, Chamberland has perfected her presence as a modern day throwback to the classic jazz singer. Her rich, velvety voice is well suited for capturing the emotion and nuance in classic torch songs, which she performs with seemingly effortless grace. THE OTHER WOMAN continues in the same vein as her previous work, with Chamberland sensually covering favorites like "What a Difference A Day Makes," "All I Ask of You" from "Phantom of the Opera," "On the Street Where You Live" and "La Mer." The arrangements range in tone from upbeat to intimate, with jazz ensemble backing on brass, strings and light percussion.
“Chamberland makes you fall in love with jazz all over again."
